back in Beirut, again! January 16, 2012 So, after a wild goose chase of the last few months (return to Beirut, find a place to stay, return to the US because of my grandmother's death, helping my parents move, Christmas, return to Beirut, computer crash and identity stolen) I have returned to a some what normal existence (I feel weird saying this because it is inevitable that something will happen in the next few weeks to make this seem not so normal, but that is life in Beirut) So, I am back in Beirut. Enjoying hummus and horns honking. Cold rain and days full of sun and clear enough to see the snow on the mountains (yes, good skiing this year!) Friends, work and my nomadic life in a bit of a lull. It is nice to be back! |
