<p>I mean, we are cosmopolitan.  Beirut isn&#8217;t 3rd world!</p>
<p>But as I am sitting in starbucks and the power just went off (again) and the internet is so slow that you can play a whole song before it loads this page&#8230;..</p>
<p>maybe I should re-consider my outrage and turn it down to a simple mis-understanding.</p>
<p>Either way, it is still my favorite city.  I am so glad to be back!</p>
